having to crowbar 2 exhausted kids out of bed at ‘oh-my-god-please-no’ o’clock every day, white-knuckle the 1-2 hour commute, 2 school drop-offs, 1 anxious kid, 3 stressed out workmates, 80 urgent emails, and a d1ckhead in a meeting.

Because sometimes the main drag of culture-approved prestige requires a dramatic exit

My long-held belief that people should have autonomy over how, where, and when they work.
In my ahead of it’s time MBA Thesis titled ‘BEYOND FLEXIBILITY - Human-Centered HR as a Source of Competitive Advantage for Firms’.
Exploring how a focus on RESULTS (instead of on bums-on-seats time) can have a huge positive impact on the bottom line AND people’s job satisfaction, wellbeing and their families’ wellbeing!
(Ya girl was all about WFH before it was cool - pumped to see it becoming more accepted since the you-know-what).

Giving kids homework to do after school should be illegal - it’s clinically proven to achieve literally nothing (except make kids and parents plot to poison each other with dishwashing powder when they least expect it). Srsly - play IS learning.

ADVICE TO LIVE BY

👋 Better to exit stage left than continue living someone else’s ideals.
💰 You can do six figure deals in jeans and bare feet (can get married in them too).
